ABOUT
"St-ART-ing Gate" is fanzine for the series Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. All proceeds from our zine will be donated to the Thoroughbred Charities of America, a charity dedicated to taking care of racehorses after retirement.This is currently our third volume of "St-ART-ing Gate", and volume three will be focused on celebrating the four seasons with our favorite horse girls!Please refer to the FAQ and Schedule for more information about the zine timeline and content!
FAQ
How many contributors will be accepted? How many of each type?We will only be accepting artists for this zine. The number of artists for this zine should be around 30, but possibly more depending on interest!--How will piece themes be allocated to artists?Piece themes will be allocated to artists based on a ranking system on the artist application form. Artists will choose which characters they would like to illustrate in the order of their preference, as well as their choice in season, if they would like. The moderators will compile the data once applications have closed and select artists accordingly.--Will the contributing artists be posted?The contributing artists will be posted after the application and selection period has finished.--Will music/writing be acceptable?Unfortunately, no. We will only be taking art submissions for this zine.
